How to Enable JavaScript

Here are the instructions on how to enable JavaScript in your browser. If your browser isn't listed, please consult its help resources.

Note: JavaScript will be enabled after you make the necessary settings and refresh the page.

Internet Explorer 6.0+

  1. Click the Tools menu.
  2. Select Internet Options.
  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. Click the Custom Level button.
  5. Scroll down until you see the 'Scripting' section. Select the 'Enable' radio button for 'Active Scripting.'
  6. Click the OK button.
  7. If you see a confirmation window, click the Yes button.

Firefox 3.6+

  1. Click the Tools menu.
  2. Select Options.
  3. Click the Content tab.
  4. Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox.
  5. Click the OK button.

Safari 2 or 3

  1. Click the Safari menu.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox.

How to Enable ActiveX

You only need to enable ActiveX for Internet Explorer.

Note: ActiveX will be enabled after you make the necessary settings and restart your browser.

Internet Explorer 6.0+

  1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Click Internet as the zone to change.
  4. Click Custom Level. The 'Security Settings - Internet Zone' dialog box appears.
  5. Scroll down to the options below Internet ActiveX Controls and Plugins and enable the following:
    • Binary and script behaviors
    • Run ActiveX Controls and Plugins
    • Script ActiveX Controls Marked Safe for Scripting
  6. Click OK to save your settings and exit the 'Internet ActiveX Controls and Plugins' dialog box.
  7. Click OK to close the 'Internet Options' dialog box.
  8. Exit Internet Explorer.
