archives_homepage5.27.10.pngIn addition to the other enhancements mentioned, we just released several site updates including:

  • Redesigned member homepage and simplified navigation - The next time you log in, you'll notice the member homepage has a new look and feel. This was done to make it easier for users to find all of the valuable features on Archives.com. Also, the navigation consolidates all of our offerings in five tabs Home, Search, My Tree, County Records, and Learn.
  • New Learn pages - Archives resources are now located on the Learn pages. There you can learn: how to build your family tree, how to search effectively, read Expert Series articles, view video tutorials (new!), and participate in the member forum.
  • Family Tree fan view - Our talented design team created a new way to view your family tree in Archives. Fan view allows you to view and print a fan shaped family tree - its fun to see your ancestors displayed in a new way, and is perfect for scrapbooks, or craft projects. To view your tree in fan view, enter your family tree and select "Fan" from the "View" drop-down menu.
We encourage you to check out these changes by logging into Archives. If you have feedback, please email us at feedback AT archives.com.
