This collection of muster rolls of Washington residents for the Indian War was compiled by the Washington State Digital Archives. The records cover 1855-1856, and include the names of the soldier and company, role, rank, term of service, and other personal information.

This collection contains information on men from Maine and other north eastern states. These men served in the 33rd and 34th U.S. Infantry. Also this collection includes a list of names of those on board the U.S.S. Adams, blown up at Hampden, Maine on Sept. 3, 1814.

This collection contains passenger records for various ships which arrived at ports on the eastern Canadian seaboard prior to 1865. Beginning in the year of 1865 (for the port of Quebec and soon, thereafter for the other eastern ports), the Canadian government began using passenger manifests as official immigration documentation and, thus, began archiving them. Since there was no official reason to retain passenger manifests prior to 1865, most were discarded and very, very few have survived.
