Arizona Genealogy & LDS Family History Centers

Tracing ancestry has become a popular hobby in the state of Arizona, as many residents of the state are attempting to piece together family trees to pass down through generations. If you need help finding your ancestry, the Arizona Family History Center in your neighborhood is a good place to start. These facilities are run by the Arizona LDS Church and a team of highly skilled volunteers that are available to provide genealogy training and answer questions. With an extensive library of print materials, microfilm and computer resources, Arizona residents discover that the family history centers are the perfect choice for tracing their ancestry.

If you have any questions or comments about family history centers, please send a message to fhc@archives.com.

Arizona Genealogy Resources

Sometimes when researching a particular state it's important to research neighboring areas since boundaries changes and in some cases, sets of records might be more regional than local. For early Arizona ancestors, check repositories for New Mexico and Mexico for relevant records. The National Archives-Pacific Region located in Southern California also holds records for Arizona.
