The Utah Divorce Records Index typically includes the following information: full name of both parties, the location of the court where the divorce was filed, the filing date for the case, the case number, and the date the divorce was final. In certain cases, some of that information might be missing if the source divorce record was incomplete.
The Utah Administrative Office of the Courts oversees the district courts, which are responsible for hearing divorce cases. Divorces are filed within the county of residence, so district courts hold divorce records for the counties that are within that jurisdiction. There are eight district courts within Utah.
