A limited number of death records from before that date are available, for a fee and with proper photo identification, from the Arkansas Department of Health, Vital Records Section. Births over 100 years old may be released to the public. Arkansas vital records may be released to specific persons who are related to the registrant, designated representatives, academic research groups, and persons able to demonstrate a right to a record.
