The Box Elder County Clerk will provide certified copies of marriage licenses to qualified individuals with identification for $6.00 per copy. Other vital records are maintained at the state level, and the state offers two options to order copies online. Birth records can be ordered at the Utah Department of Health for $18.00 for the first copy and $8.00 for each additional copy ordered at the same time. Vital records can be ordered through VitalChek for $38.95 plus shipping fees. Statewide birth and death registration began in 1898, though some cities registered deaths prior to that date. Birth and death records are available for a fee to immediate family.
