Clackamas County, Oregon (http://www.clackamas.us/community_health/ph/certificates.jsp), provides vital records through the County Registrar's office for six months following the event. Residents may order a vital record by mail or in person. Fees are $20.00 for original copies and $15.00 for additional copies ordered with the original. After six months, copies may be obtained through the Oregon Vital Records Office (http://public.health.oregon.gov/BirthDeathCertificates/GetVitalRecords/Pages/index.aspx). Internet orders are handled through VitalChek (http://www.vitalchek.com/). The non-refundable fee for one copy is $32.50, which includes a $12.50 processing fee. Only immediate family members or legal representatives may order vital records for another individual. Copies of marriage and divorce records are also available at VitalChek.
