Dona Ana County, NM Birth, Death, Marriage, Divorce Records

Dona Ana County vital recordsDoa Ana County is one the most highly populated counties in the state, and the county seat of Las Cruces is, in fact, the 2nd most populated, behind Albuquerque only. Las Cruces is home to the Third District Court, the local source of all court records, and the County Clerk, the local source for all other public records. The Clerk's office provides an online database system that lists most records the office has on file, however those who wish to use to system will first need to visit the office in person to apply for and register an account. While most records in New Mexico are open to the public, birth records are not until they reach 100 years of age, and neither are death records until they are 50 years old. Both are maintained by the NM Department of Health in Albuquerque.
