Gage County vital recordsThe Gage County Historical Society operates a Society Museum in the county seat of Beatrice, NE, at 101 N 2nd Street. Admission to the museum is free, and it is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:00AM until 12:00PM, then again from 1:00PM until 5:00PM, and Sundays from 1:30PM until 5:00PM. It is also open on Saturdays, though only part of each year, from Memorial Day till Labor Day. Within the museum is the Society's collection of historical records, including marriage records, old photos, obituaries, and much more. Society volunteers staff the museum and will perform research requests. Requests can be emailed or requested over the phone at (402) 228-1679. The county offices of the Register of Deeds and County Clerk are also in Beatrice, in the courthouse at 612 Grant St., and they both are open to the public on business days from 8:00AM until 5:00PM.
