Gilliam County, OR Birth, Death, Marriage, Divorce Records

The County Registrar of Gilliam County, Oregon (http://www.co.gilliam.or.us/departments/clerk/index.html), is responsible for recording all births and deaths within the county, then sending the records to the state Vital Statistics Office in Portland (http://public.health.oregon.gov/BirthDeathCertificates/GetVitalRecords/Pages/index.aspx). Certified copies of birth and death records are available for $20.00 for the first copy and $15.00 each for additional copies requested at the same time. Inquiries can be directed also to VitalChek (http://www.vitalchek.com/). The non-refundable fee for one copy through VitalChek is $32.50, including $12.50 for processing. Only immediate family members or legal representatives may order birth records for another individual. Copies of marriage and divorce records are also available at VitalChek.
