Grafton County vital recordsWhile vital records for Grafton County can be obtained from the Town Clerk of any town within the county, the dates of records are limited. To access birth and death records, among others, dating as far back as 1640, individuals will need to contact or visit the New Hampshire Division of Vital Records Administration in Concord. Only death, marriage, and divorce records dated prior to 1948, and birth records dated prior to 1901 are open to the public, while those dated after those dates are only available to the original recipient or members of the immediate family. The Grafton County Registry of Deeds has property records on file dating back from 1769 to the present, and those dated from 1960 are viewable via the computer terminals available at the office. All records on file at the Registry office are open to the public.
