Hancock County vital recordsThe Hancock County Historical Society, located in Bay Saint Louis on 108 Cue Street, runs the Kate Lobrano House, where all of the physical records and genealogical materials it has indexed are stored and ready for researchers to view them. The Society, founded in 1977, offers a large selection of its research materials and records online, as well, such as census records from the early to mid 1800s, a marriage index from 1849 to 1956, divorce index from 1916 to 1950, and much more. All of it is open to the public, and what isn't listed online can be viewed at their physical location, which is open Monday through Friday, from 10:00Am until 3:00PM. In addition, the Hancock County Chancery Clerk provides certified copies of all records, with the exception of birth, death, and marriage records, which are provided by the State Dept of Health's Vital Records Division.
