Henry County vital recordsThe Henry County Museum, operated by the Henry County Historical Society, is located in what was originally an Anheuser-Busch building that was built in 1886 and is now on the Nation Register of Historic Places. Within the museum is a Genealogy Library that has a plethora of local and historical records that are all open to the public. The museum is located at 203 West Franklin St in Clinton, MO, and the Genealogy Library is open Monday through Friday from 1:00PM until 4:00PM. The Henry County Courthouse is just down the street from the museum at 100 W Franklin and contains the offices of the Circuit Clerk and Recorder of Deeds, the former of which maintains divorce, civil and criminal records, while the latter handles marriage and property records. Land records on file with the Recorder begin in the 1830s and continue to the present.
