Miller County vital recordsThe Miller County Historical Society operates a museum in Tuscumbia, MO, that has a huge number of local records and resources available for researchers. In the research library are marriage records, family histories, and much more, some of it for sale. Their website also has information on it on a number of subjects, such as impact the Civil War had on the residents there, and others. Also in Tuscumbia is the Recorder of Deeds office, which keeps track of marriage and property records, among others. The office is at 2001 Highway 52 and is open every weekday from 8:00AM until 4:30PM. The County Clerk is also in charge of various records, as well as linking to the Missouri Digital Heritage Project for those who wish to research birth and death records dated prior to 1910.
