Mower County, MN Birth, Death, Marriage, Divorce Records

Mower County vital recordsThe Mower County Auditor-Treasurer department provides access to, and copies of vital records for residents of the county, as well as answering many frequently asked questions, and providing any forms that might be required to obtain copies of records on their website. To view certified copies of birth and death records, both of which are available indexed from 1870 to the present, individuals must prove they have a tangible interest in the record in question, which is to say, they must be the registrar, related to him, or legally affiliated with him in some way. Uncertified records do not suffer the same restrictions and are viewable and obtainable by all members of the public. The Mower County Historical Society also maintains a comprehensive research library with a staff on-hand to assist or perform research. The fee for nonmembers of the Society to use the library is $5.
