Panola County, MS Birth, Death, Marriage, Divorce Records

Panola County vital recordsThe Panola County Historical & Genealogical organization is a user-driven group that contains a lot of random historical and genealogical information on its website. By engaging its members, the organization can offer its assistance to those who need help with a particular project, or those who are having a hard time locating a specific record. The Panola County MSGenWeb Project provides a large number of resources and records online, as well, such as census records from all throughout the 1800s and more. The Chancery and Circuit Court Clerks both are the official county recorders and custodians of property, criminal, marriage, and other records, and each have offices in the two county seats of Sardis and Batesville. The state of Mississippi also indexes and provides copies of vital records for the entire state, and all are available online, through the mail, over the phone at (601) 576-7981, and in person.
