The office of the Clerk of the District Court, who maintains court records for Perkins County, also performs the functions of the Register of Deeds and the County Clerk who, between the two offices, maintain marriage and property records. The office is housed in the Perkins County Courthouse in Grant, NE, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00AM until 4:00PM, excluding major holidays. The Perkins County branch
of the NEGenWeb Project also provides a variety of records and documents online, including some birth and marriage records, family biographies, cemetery listings, and more. For those who need more research materials, the Nebraska State Historical Society
has thousands of records on file both at its archives library and listed online. Because the library is located in Lincoln, NE, the Society also accepts research requests online for those who are not able to visit in person.
