Ralls County, MO Birth, Death, Marriage, Divorce Records

Ralls County vital recordsThe area now comprising Ralls County was originally settled by British settlers as evidenced by the name of the county seat, New London. Despite being the county seat, New London is not the most populated city in the county, however it is where all government departments responsible for record keeping, in general, are located. The Circuit Clerk also performs the functions of the Recorder of Deeds, and as such, keeps tracks of and distributes copies of all property, marriage, divorce, and other records for the county. The Clerk office is housed in the Ralls County Courthouse on 311 S. Main in New London. The Ralls County Historical Society is located in the town of Perry, unlike the Clerk, and operates a Historical Museum and Library there. The library is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10:00AM until 5:00PM, and individuals can call (573) 248-6147 to schedule an appointment on Sunday or Monday.
