Washington County vital recordsIn Washington County, Oregon, birth and death records are available in the County Health and Human Services office (http://www.co.washington.or.us/HHS/BirthDeathCertificates/birth-certificates.cfm) for up to six months following the event. Birth/death certificates must be ordered by an authorized individual. The first copy of a certificate is $20; each additional copy is $15 when ordered at the same time. After six months, requests for copies of records should be made to http://public.health.oregon.gov/BirthDeathCertificates/GetVitalRecords/Pages/index.aspx. Requests can be made also to VitalChek (http://www.vitalchek.com/). The fee for one copy is $32.50, including $12.50 for processing. VitalChek also provides copies of marriage and divorce records.
