The county clerk in Dresden, the county seat of Weakley County, Tennessee (http://www.weakleycountytn.gov/), will make copies of marriage records which are then available to eligible persons by mail for $5.00 each. All birth, death, marriage, and divorce information is collected and sent to the state Vital Records Office (http://health.state.tn.us/vr/Genealogy.htm). Copies of birth certificates are $15.00 for the first copy and $5.00 for each additional copy. There is a $7.00 charge for death certificate copies.
