Easier To Search Census Records

As one of the best sources of information about your ancestors, census records are invaluable to your family history research. Archives.com allows members to access millions of U.S. census records. To make the search more precise, we just launched an enhancement that allows you to search for census records by census year.

This means it's easier to find the exact record you're searching for, and you don't have to sift through irrelevant results.

Census_search.png To specify the census year you'd like to search, log in to Archives.com and click the Search tab. Select the "Census Records" Archive from the drop-down menu, and select the desired census year in the "Census Year" drop-down menu.

The "All Census Years" option is pre-selected, so if you'd like to continue searching all census years - you don't have to do a thing. To learn more about searching census records, visit the Archives Search Guide.

We hope you find this helpful! We're working hard to continually identify areas of the website that could use improvement or enhancement. If you have a suggestion for us, please email feedback AT archives.com.
