Researching African family history can be very challenging. Many traditional research options such as census records, recorded only limited details of African descendants - or none at all. Professor Gates brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for African Heritage. "African American genealogy has been under-served for many years. "Archives.com is making family history easy and affordable for the everyday person. The site offers a rich interface and access to an abundance of records, images, and stories about the past."
