Kansas Genealogy Resources
Kansas researchers should be aware that the Kansas State Historical Society has a comprehensive collection of microfilmed newspapers. These microfilmed copies can be borrowed through interlibrary loan. You can ask your local public library about borrowing these microfilms for you for a nominal charge. In addition to newspapers from Kansas, they also have newspapers from almost every state. Consult their website for the state you are researching and peruse their listing of newspaper titles and dates to see which ones might assist you in your research.
