Beaver County vital recordsBeaver County in the Oklahoma panhandle abuts both Kansas and Texas. Although recording of vital records began 1907, it was not mandated until 1917, and not widespread until the 1940s. Records can be orders by mail or in person from the Beaver County or State Departments of Health, with birth records restricted to immediate family if the person of record is alive. Marriage and divorce records can be ordered from the Beaver Clerk of Courts. Historical records are maintained at the Oklahoma Historical Society. Formed as part of the Cimarron Territory in 1886 and formerly a part of No Man's Land, Beaver County was established upon statehood in 1907.
