Borden County, TX Birth, Death, Marriage, Divorce Records

Borden County vital recordsFrom the late 1800s to the present, Borden County records for births, deaths, and marriages have been maintained by the office of the County Clerk. The population of Borden is very small, and for many years there have been no hospital and no doctors in the county. Therefore only a few births and deaths have recently occurred there. Divorce records are kept by the District Clerk, but at this point the same person is fulfilling the duties of both County Clerk and District Clerk. The county was organized in 1891, with Gail as its county seat.
