All the offices are located in the county seat of Salem, with the Health Department at 601 South MacArthur, and the Recorder and Circuit Clerk both sharing space in the Dent County Judicial Building on 112 E. Fifth Street. At the state level, the Bureau of Vital Records with the Department of Health and Senior Services handles birth and death, as well as marriage and divorce records at the state level and is located in Jefferson City.
