Copies of birth certificates are $15.00 for the first copy and $5.00 for each additional copy. There is a $7.00 charge for death certificate copies. VitalChek ( makes records available on the Internet for an additional service fee. The county courthouse in Trenton experienced a fire in 1941, but vital records remained intact.
