Laclede County, MO Birth, Death, Marriage, Divorce Records

Laclede County vital recordsLaclede County, established in 1849, was named for the founder of the city of St Louis, Pierre Laclde. The county is located fairly close to the center of the state, and the county seat is the town of Lebanon. Lebanon is where the Recorder of Deeds is located in the Laclede County Government Center on 200 N. Adams Ave. The Recorder's department, in charge of maintaining marriage and property records, offers a free online search that includes both of the previously mentioned record types, as well as plats, surveys, and tax liens. While the search system is free and does not require users to create an account, the department does offer a few subscription plans for viewing images of land records. Also in the Laclede County Government Center is the Circuit Clerk's office, where interested parties can inquire as to divorce, other civil, and criminal records.
