Lincoln County vital recordsLincoln County was created out of Whitman County in 1883. State registration of birth/death vital records began in 1907, and of marriage/divorce records in 1968, with copies available from the Department of Health Center for Health Statistics in Olympia, or VitalChek. Locally, copies of birth records 1921—present are available from the Lincoln County Health Department in Davenport for $20 by mail or in person, with death certificates available for 30 days only. Marriage records are available locally from the County Auditor in Davenport and divorce records from the County Clerk in Davenport. For pre-state-registration records, the Washington State Archives should be contacted.
