Loudoun County vital recordsThe Loudoun Clerk of the Circuit Court has been praised by the Virginia Genealogical Society for its historic records program. The Archives Division maintains these records dating back to 1757. Many of vital records and related documents (including records of children born to unmarried parents in Loudoun County from 1757-1872) are available free on line. Registered births are covered from 1853 to 1917, with some gaps, and deaths from 1912 to 1917. Vital records are available to qualified individuals for $12.00 at the Virginia Department of Health. Death, marriage, and divorce records become public after 50 years, birth records after 100.
