Records through the system begin in 05/1997 to the present, and it operates on a subscription basis with a $25 per month plan, and a $275 annual plan, as well. The office, which has records on file dating much older than the online service provides, is located at 250 Broad Street, #2, in Columbia, MS. In addition, the Marion County Genealogy and History Network and the Marion County Historical Society both serve as access points and collectors of county historical and genealogical records. The latter operates the City of Columbia Museum which has a large library and research area, and the former offers a huge amount of information on its website for free.
