Morrison County vital recordsAlong with the Morrison County Historical Society, the Morrison County Recorder has a comprehensive index of vital records for the area, and provides instructions and applications to obtain copies of them. In addition to partnering with the VitalChek service, the County Recorder provides both certified and uncertified copies of marriage, birth, and death records, all of which are on file from 1870 to the present. The public is welcome to visit the office in person to research any records that are part of the public record. The Historical Society has a huge amount of research and online resources, as well as having a volunteer staff available to either assist with research for free, or perform research entirely for a $25 per hour fee. Requests can be emailed to the group, who will perform any research requests and bill the total amount upon completion.
