The Genealogical Society of Rockland County, which makes its home in the New City Library, offers a variety of records on its website as well as at the library itself. The Society website includes a listing of all genealogical materials the library has on hand. It is located at 220 N Main Street in the county seat of New City, NY. The Rockland County Clerk is also in New City, in Suite 100 of the Rockland County Courthouse at 1 South Main Street. The Clerk's office is open from 7:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening, Monday through Friday.
