Records dated more recently than those dates are only available to the original recipient, or members of the recipient's immediate family. Also, the Sullivan County Registry of Deeds has real estate records on file dating from 1827, the year of the county's formation, to the present. All of the records on file are open to the public, and the Registry office has staff that can assist in finding records and historical documents.
