Todd County vital recordsThe Todd County Recorder's office offers multiple options to obtain birth, death, and marriage records. In all options, the appropriate form must first be filled out and signed in front of a notary public. They are willing to accommodate rush orders, which need to be faxed to their office at 320-732-4001 and can be paid with a credit card, the information of which is entered on the application. Regular orders can be sent through the mail to the Todd County Recorder, 221 First Avenue South, Suite 300, Long Prairie MN 56347. Applications can also be submitted in person at the same address. Todd County also has a Historical Society, also in Long Prairie, that has a number of genealogy resources open to members and nonmembers alike, however nonmembers are asked to contribute an $8 donation in exchange for use of the research room and resources.
