The Society and its archives are located at 107 Chapel Street in the county seat of Penn Yan, NY. Also in Penn Yan, in Suite 1107 on 417 Liberty Street, is the office of the County Clerk, the official county repository for a large variety of historical records. Among others, the Clerk's office has County and Supreme Court records, and property records on file, many of which date as far back as the early and mid 1800s.
