In Hawaii, access to vital records is restricted by statute so be sure to check with the office to see if you qualify to gain access to the certificate of your choice. For certificates for divorces that took place after December 2002, refer to the records kept in the court where the divorce took place. You can also order certified birth and marriage certificates dating back as far as July 1909 here. The certificate is usually in the mail within 3 days.
