The Kittitas County Health District in Ellensburg provides copies of birth records only for events since 1924 and death records only for 30 days, while the state Center for Health Statistics in Olympia maintains records since 1907. Copies can be requested by mail, phone, or in person (online through VitalChek). Birth/death records for 18911907 and marriage records 1884—present are kept by the county auditor, and divorce records are available from the county clerk, with recent records also available at the state Center for Health Statistics.
